What would Christmas be without food?

Despite the usual forecast of warm weather in Australia on December 25th, many of us enjoy a traditional roast Christmas dinner! For people from Myanmar who have settled in Australia, there’s also a few go-to dishes and recipes which can be enjoyed on Christmas day.

One crowd pleaser is the Tea Leaf Salad - which can be made from scratch or with the help of an ingredient from a Myanmar grocery store. This one is spicy and refreshing, which is perfect for an Australian summer!
